What You Want Most in Your Life Using Fung Shui

What would you like to have more of in your life? Is it health, wealth, love, relationships, and/or peace? You can attract any and all of these with the thoughtful use of Feng Shui principles.

The first thing I learned about Feng Shui is to use the items I already have. We don't have to go out and buy a lot of stuff. It is said that when we move 27 items in our homes our life changes. But, we must be careful where we move them. It can be as simple as a candle, a vase, a plant, or even a mirror. So where do we put these little treasures to make them work for and not against us.

To begin, it's important to go slowly and make only a few changes at a time. If you've made the correct changes, you'll notice the difference in the feeling in your life and in your home whether it is a room, an apartment or a mansion.

Mirrors can be used in many helpful ways to improve and to redirect the flow of Chi (life energy force). Place a mirror where it can reflect a beautiful scene in your garden. A mirror has a powerful use for good when placed in back of the stove in your kitchen. It allows you to see what's behind you while you are busy cooking and still be part of the family activity. Mirrors stand for water and stoves for fire. So the water balances out the fire.

Mirrors must always be clean and sparkling and should never be in little squares, have etchings across the center of them that obscure your face or cut you in half. It's about the symbology and how it makes you feel when you see yourself in the mirror. They should used as little as possible in bedrooms because the Chi energy bounces off the mirrors detracting from a restful night's sleep.

Healthy live plants placed around your home add amazing benefits to your home and your health. Never use dried arrangements or plastic flowers, even in the fall. They are dead. Don't keep sick plants around. The leaves should be rounded and not pointed or sharp. Use only real flowers in your home. You're not fooling anyone with plastic flowers particularly yourself and you're the one who lives there.

Less is better than more when using Feng Shui. Don't overdo it. The proper use of Feng Shui brings love, joy and a feeling of peace and well-being into your home. Enjoy it.
